Sprue is not a serious illness. However, if you have this one was very uncomfortable because it so difficult to eat or speak. How to avoid stomatitis?

Sprue or known as stomatitis is a swelling or inflammation that occurs in the lining of the mouth mucosa. Area that can be affected sprue including the cheeks, gums, tongue, lips and palate. In addition, sprue can also cause bleeding, swelling and red colors.

As quoted from Healthcentre, Saturday (27/3/2010) there is some things that can cause thrush, namely:

Viral

Sprue is caused by some form of virus in the body, including special cases such as that cause glandular fever, herpes and other mouth diseases.

Because of bacteria

Ulcers of this type usually occurs when a person likes a sore throat or suffering from other diseases caused by bacteria.

Due to the fungus

These ulcers occur when someone has an immune system is very low or other health problems that may require the use of high doses of antibiotics.

Non-infection

The most general cause of the injury recurring in the mouth, though the cause is unknown but will usually disappear within 2 weeks. These ulcers can also be caused by a problem in the digestive system, lack of vitamins, riboflavin, miacin and B12.

In addition to the above four causes, there are also other things that allegedly can cause ulcers as less maintaining oral hygiene, the installation of braces or dentures as well as consumption of food or hot drinks.

Maintenance performed to treat ulcers is to find the source of these ulcers. However, regulate food intake can also help, like avoiding crunchy foods or foods with a sharp taste. Try to use a soft toothbrush and keep the mouth and teeth health.

If you are a user braces or dentures, ask your doctor to examine him when he was visiting to ensure that no significant problems.

Usually thrush will disappear by itself after 4 days, but if you do not go away should seek medical help, especially if caused by a bacterial infection that requires antibiotics.

Actually, ulcers can be prevented by maintaining oral hygiene and good dental health, dental checks on a regular basis and set a good diet to reduce the trigger foods that can irritate the lining of the mouth mucosa.

Besides the prevention of canker sores can also be done by avoiding the occurrence of trauma or impact such as brushing your teeth with a soft, not in a hurry when chewing food, and not talk while eating.

Sprue (stomatitis)
Stomatitis can affect anyone, young and old. What, cause and prevention of stomatitis is still rare to hear. Therefore, try reading the following article …!

What is stomatitis ?
Stomatitis is a common language for a variety of lesions / bumps that arise in the oral cavity. The type of stomatitis usually occur frequently in everyday of our mouth is called (in terms of dentistry) Stomatitis Aphtosa Recurrent (SAR).

Wikipedia : -Stomatitis is an inflammation of the mucous lining of any of the structures in the mouth, which may involve the cheeks, gums, tongue, lips, throat, and roof or floor of the mouth. The inflammation can be caused by conditions in the mouth itself, such as poor oral hygiene, poorly fitted dentures, or from mouth burns from hot food or drinks, or by conditions that affect the entire body, such as medications, allergic reactions, radiation therapy, or infections.

The symptoms of pain one to two days later could arise injury (ulser) in the oral cavity. Pain and heat in this sprue makes us hard to eat and drink. That sometimes patients with SAR are coming to the dentist in a state of weakness.
These often affect anyone. Not knowing the age or gender. Usually the most frequently arise in SAR is part of the cheek mucosa, the inner lips, tongue and on the ceiling.

The cause of stomatitis
Until now the main cause of the SAR is not yet known. However, experts have suspected that a lot of things causing these sores, including:

Deficiency of vitamin B12 and iron.

Viral and bacterial infections are also suspected of being the originator of the emergence of this SAR. There is also a saying that the sprue is an abnormal reaction to immunologic oral cavity.

Now that quite often happens to us, especially the big city, is the stress. This factors (stress) have been investigated in touch with the emergence of the SAR.

How to handle?

By knowing the cause, it is hoped we can avoid the occurrence of this sprue, including the oral cavity hygiene and consume enough nutrients, especially vitamin B12 and iron. Also in addition, be sure to avoid stress. But if stomatitis always appears, you can try a mouthwash, gargle warm salt water and go to the dentist to ask the right medicine for stomatitis.
